Open Terminal and run these two commands. Requires Homebrew and macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel.

Workflow

Copy, find, paste

    Copy anything

    Copy text, links, images, and files from any app. Copy Paste Manager keeps them ready, skipping the apps you exclude and content that password managers mark as concealed.

    Open with ⌘⌥V

    Open the popup near your cursor or pin it to a screen edge. Search, filter, click, or stay on the keyboard.

  3. 03

    Paste or transform

    Press Enter to paste, or use Advanced Paste to clean formatting, change case, resize images, extract file paths, and more.

Setup

Permissions are explained before you grant them

Copy Paste Manager uses optional macOS Accessibility access to paste selected items, Paste Queue items, and Copy Target copies into other apps and return focus correctly. Access is explained when you choose to enable direct paste. Without it, you can still use history and copy clips for manual pasting. The global history shortcut works without Accessibility access.

Your clipboard stays yours

No cloud sync. No accounts. Clipboard content never leaves your Mac. Local usage statistics stay on your Mac, never include what you copied, and can be turned off. Screen sharing privacy asks macOS to keep the popup out of screen shares and recordings.
